Welcome to European Eats

Hello and welcome to European Eats (formerly Must Eat Europe)!
To get straight to the point, my main purpose of this blog is to try and give people planning to head over to Europe some possible suggestions for culinary delights that I have been lucky enough to experience over the past eight years.
Although I’m Sydney based, I have managed to explore a great deal of Europe in 3 separate trips over to the continent that have all lasted for more than a couple of months. I have also lived abroad in London (as well as Whistler in Canada but that's a whole other story) for a short while. To be honest, I have mostly covered Western Europe in my travels, however I have still managed to pop over to some of the Eastern countries on a couple of occasions to appreciate some of the sensations that they have to offer as well.
Hopefully through this blog I will be able to introduce some of you to both familiar and unfamiliar meals, snacks and treats that I have come across during my travels, from Reindeer Kebabs in Finland, to Schnitzels bigger than your head in Austria! If I can help prospective travellers with suggestions or ideas that can make their first, second or tenth trip across the seas to the EU that much more interesting or enjoyable then my goal for this blog will have been met.
So along the way if anyone has any comments about a particular dish, suggestions on other dishes that may not have been mentioned, or stories about their culinary experiences they would like to share, please feel free to leave a comment or story.
I'm hoping to update every week so keep checking back for more fun food tales.
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Eating!
